Blog Post #6

My experience with blogging has been a positive one. I've enjoyed being able to reflect on our weekly activities and expand my thoughts on what we have talked about in class. I have learned a lot about my own thinking, but also about others, especially when we read each other's blogs and leave comments. Overall, I think it has been a great tool to do some reflection and deeper understanding.

My experience with Generative AI has been a useful and easy one. I've used it to ask random questions, but more specifically for this class, working with lesson plans. The more specific I was when asking questions about what I wanted, the more accurate the generative source was. I think next time I use it, I will definitely immediately ask very specific questions about what I may want.

Generative AI could be very beneficial in teaching practices. I think I would definitely use it for lesson plans or generative images for the classroom. I think it could be a useful tool for students if used the correct way and for help rather than for all the work. I would make sure that students aren't using it to do all of their work, but use it as a recourse that can answer questions or look over work if needed.

  1. Good Blog, you demonstrate a logical take on the ethical use of AI in the classroom. Though, I think you'll have to be specific in not allowing students to use AI for most of their work, which would be considered a form of plagiarism.
