After first exploring AI, I definitely think it could be beneficial in a K-12 classroom. With a tool like AI, things such as classroom schedules, planning sheets, and even ideas or photos for slideshows would be readily available and easy to use for all teachers. I think it could harm students' learning if not regulated, for when students get older, they may try to rely on AI to generate sources or complete work for them. Overall, I think AI is definitely an interesting, and mostly helpful, tool to add to K-12 classrooms.

Using tools like Pinterest and Instagram has already started to expand my PLN. I have been able to follow and see other teachers' boards or pages that would help me when coming up with ideas for the classroom. I also have been able to create boards on Pinterest that combine all of my ideas into one place. These platforms would be very helpful in my future career as a performing arts educator to promote shows while also gaining ideas and knowledge from others in my profession.

Growing up, I went to a digitally rich school. I was given a Chromebook by my school starting in fourth grade all the way through seventh, before I had to buy my own MacBook. My K-12 technology experience has definitely affected my college preparation because I feel very comfortable being around technology and know how to use many platforms. Learning how to use all of the Google platforms at a very early age definitely strengthened my confidence in using technology in classrooms.

For collaborative writing, I always tend to choose Google Docs. You can share a document with multiple people, and see real-time edits while all contributing to the doc at the same time. In the classroom, a lesson that I may use this tool with is creative script writing. I would assign four students to a group, and task them to write a scene all together based on their favorite fairytale. This platform would make it very simple and easy for a group to collaborate all together.
