A standard that incorporates technology in some way is ELA.9.C.51. This standard is the ability to create your own presentations using digital applications and/or technologies that share a direct and understandable perspective. I do feel prepared to implement this standard based on my current skill set. Through applications like Slides, Powerpoint, Canva, and more, I think I have tools readily available to aid me through creating a presentation that is clear and comprehensive.
The grade and subject area I chose to look at on CPALMS was the third grade and theatre. After looking around, I chose the resource that is creating an imaginative costume or prop out of everyday items in the classroom. The related resources that were on this website consisted of a lesson plan about shadow puppetry. This would be a really interesting and fun project for students in the classroom, as we could develop new skills that could be used on stage or while creating fun stories.
The Newsletter Design Assignment was really fun to work on. It definitely was a challenge for me, as I have rarely used Word before. I think in the future, I could improve my newsletter by making it have more fun colors and a different organizational outline. The skills I learned will be helpful in the future when I am trying to create an informational letter or graphic to send out to others and/or parents of children.
